This is a temporary position. Days and hours of work are variable.
Essential Functions
Supervision, and Preparation:
Responsible for the following tasks:
• Coordinate with manager regarding staff in the kitchen, work cooperatively to assure the safety of employees.
• Supervise Dish Washers.
Food Preparation and Serving:
• Orderly storage of food and supplies.
• Prepare foodstuffs for cooking and serving. Assuring the quality of food prepared and served.
• Supervise the serving of food.
• Ensure the collection and cleaning of plates, utensils and pots and pans and the disposal of waste.
• Ensure that the kitchen is maintained in a clean and safe manner and in accordance with health codes.
• Report mechanical problems.
