Core Responsibilities: * Lead global sales initiatives and efforts for Engineered Components; bring significant opportunities through selling value in markets of opportunity including, but not limited to, aerospace & defense, industrial, pharmaceutical, automotive, and capital equipment. * Lead the commercial efforts of the business to accelerate growth by extending the organizations core competencies in diverse industries. * Develop and achieve company sales and gross margin goals. * Identify and pursue new business opportunities focused on growth and diversification. Develop detailed plans for penetrating and securing new business opportunities. * Develop financial and strategic commercial sales plans that align to product divisions that results in a coordinated selling effort to exceed annual sales goals and objectives * Develop and grow the Engineered Components business by formulating and implementing long-term growth strategies and tactical sales plans to achieve or exceed established sales targets with new and existing customers. Assess present and future needs, trends, problems, and growth opportunities for Engineered Components and outline clear and concise actions to attain achieve them. * Establish sales strategy and sales objectives for the Sales team, consistent with the Engineered Components profitable growth strategy and annual plan. * Communicate a vision establishing direction and motivating the sales team to focus efforts toward achieving goals. Develop a high performing team of sales managers through coaching, mentoring and performance management. * Must be a strong team leader and team builder, with a passion for developing strong global teams via collaboration and champion of the integrated Talent Management System. * Viewed as a trusted business partner, facilitating and supporting the voice of the customer. Develop and maintain strong relationships within the organization as well as the customer's organization by leveraging networks and establishing new contacts. * Partner with Division leadership, our internal engineering teams and customers to use our technical expertise to drive projects/new product development to meet our customer goals. * Provide and report appropriate analysis such as sales forecasts, new account activity and customer retention to the SBU President and other functional areas, as appropriate. * Ability to travel both domestically and internationally 40%-50%. Qualifications: * Minimum of 15 plus years of proven leadership and results in sales, business development and marketing management that includes selling into the industrial, aerospace, defense, medical and automotive markets. Five (5) plus years in a technical engineering environment is essential.
