The Buck Inn has an immediate opening for an experienced line cook - we are a fast paced restaurant looking for someone who is passionate about food, has a positive attitude and willing to learn new things. You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from our head cook who has many years of experience. Our staff's safety is very important to us and we will be following CDC guidelines to ensure both guest and staff safety to the best of our ability.
Line Cook Job Responsibilities:
- Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
- Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
- Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
- Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
- Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
Ideal candidates will be effective team players, hard working, and be able to work with a variety of personalities while ensuring consistent quality of every product that leaves the kitchen. We are looking for a leader who can calmly control the line and also inspire others to work at the level of excellence that this concept requires.
Must be able to work day shifts, nights, weekends and Holidays
Pay based on experience.
