Dematic has an exciting opportunity and now hiring for a Global Financial Analyst at our North America Headquarters office in Grand Rapids, MI or Atlanta, GA. This position will be used to enhance and develop the Global Planning & Reporting functions within the Dematic Global Finance Organization. This position requires five plus years of relevant finance experience and will have exposure to several levels of executive management. Reporting directly to the Sr. Global Finance Operations Manager, the position will have the following
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead planning and reporting of Global Engineering Technologies (GET) and Engineering organizations, partnering cross-functionally in a large matrix organization
2. Strategic business finance partner to VP of Engineering as well as support analyst to various global functions as assigned including various global cost centers.
3. Prepare and present monthly actual/forecast results to VP of Engineering, VP of Finance, Sr. Director of Finance, Global GPE leaders and various Executive levels in the organization providing strategic recommendations for improvement as required
4. Prepare monthly operating review package for global engineering function along with supporting Sr. Director of Finance on explanations of changes and trends to global leadership.
5. Develop presentation materials as required for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) for Global Operations
6. Lead and/or assist with training or complete rollout of new template requests for various analysis
7. Lead and/or assist with training from a global perspective on Demand/Capacity expectations and analysis reviewed by CEO and COO bi-weekly.
8. Participate and/or lead various improvement initiatives within Engineering
9. Help coordinate annual budget process for supported functions, including preparation of departmental summaries and presentations.
10. Perform quality control for consolidation of global managerial reporting forecast
11. Support implementation of new global BI reporting tool.
12. Review, summarize, and identify key trends in regional savings reporting.
13. Create as needed new templates for data collection to support on-going or one-time requests.
14. Support Global and Local Vice Presidents and Director, Finance on special ad hoc analysis
