The Technical Analyst is a temporary salaried bargaining unit position that is responsible for adjudication pre-authorizations on vehicles that require an independent audit to verify coverage on MVP Service Contracts. The Technical Service analyst will maintain a comprehensive knowledge of company and competitive products, services, policies and procedures utilized by FCA LLC and its dealers. The candidate will demonstrate sensitivity to complaint issues, product changes, warranty overage and legal guidelines. This individual will effectively interface with dealerships, purchased services and other key personnel to mediate disputes and initiate corrective actions on a case by case utilizing empowered decision-making authority. The candidate will accurately document reasons(s) for contact and other relevant information to ensure data integrity for reporting to and key internal/external stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- A minimum of 2 years of business related experience and/or Bachelor’s degree
- ASE Certified or equivalent experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving and planning skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a team environment
- Possess above average personal computer skills and ability to use a wide variety of Microsoft and Google applications
- Highly organized with solid time management, prioritization and multitasking skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASE – Must have two years of on the job training or one year of on the job training and a two-year degree in automotive repair
- A working knowledge of internal technical support, business center operations and engineering systems a plus
- Customer care, field or customer experience background is a plus
