Position Summary
The Marketing Production Manager functions as a key player in a fast-paced marketing team who actively works to keep projects and people aligned to meet business objectives. They are responsible for managing creative projects as well as coordinating both internal team members and external 3rd party resources. Additionally, they are responsible for ensuring Suns marketing initiatives are successfully and efficiently executed.
Duties
1 Manages marketing projects from intake through execution and keeps all stakeholders informed throughout the process.
2 Manages project schedules and resource assignments.
3 Collaborates with working teams to ensure assignments are properly executed to meet project deadlines.
4 Manages production resources and third-party vendor engagements.
5 Coordinates team member selection and development and ensures team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures.
6 Adheres to Suns Timekeeping Policy by reviewing, verifying accuracy, approving and submitting direct report(s) time recorded.
7 Partners with Team Relations on team member counseling and recommendation of termination when appropriate.
8 Conducts team member performance reviews and recommends compensation adjustments.
9 Serves as a key contact between the creative teams, third party agencies, vendors and freelance resources.
10 Ensures the creative process is followed and required documentation is completed for all projects.
11 Manages project pipeline through project management tool to open, set schedules, assigns resources and effectively track all initiatives and requests within the creative development process.
12 Works with marketing leaders to drive clarity of deliverables and estimate task size in order to create project plans, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way.
13 Conducts traffic meetings to review key deliverable dates and assignments.
14 Measures project performance to identify areas for improvement and reports to Director, Marketing Production.
15 Produces various reports for marketing leadership to effectively manage the marketing pipeline and allocated resources for projects.
16 Facilitates project changes and communicates possible issues and opportunities.
17 Supports activities that may include managing marketing material procurement, ordering of supplies and coordinating any deliveries or administrative requirements.
18 Supports marketing production department tracking of budgets based on external resources, agencies and tools that have been procured for projects and/or process.
19 Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field (Required)
* 3 years Marketing production or project management.
* 6 months Design, marketing or agency environment.
* Demonstrated leadership abilities
* Strong attention to detail, organization and planning skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Advanced computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Adobe a plus
* Proficiency with Project Management Tools; Asana preferred
