Manages the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting process, including distribution and development of reports, for Senior Health Services. Manages the planning, organizing and directing of the Business Unit's annual financial plans and processes. Manages and prepares financial analyses and presentation materials for various audiences within the Enterprise. Overseas the analysis, review, and approval of allocations impacting the Business Unit. Develops strong partnerships with leaders within the Business Unit and across the Enterprise while focusing on improving the financial performance of Senior Health Services. <br><br><strong> RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS: </strong><br> <ul> <li> Manages all financial reporting and analysis including Scorecard reporting for the Senior Health Services Business Unit providing insightful analysis of results. </li> <li> Develops and prepares executive-level financial presentation materials </li> <li> Manages cost allocation process; including methodology communication and review, distribution to Business Unit leaders, as well as monthly monitoring and reporting. </li> <li> Manages and performs variance expense analyses, including employee expenses and benefits, product costing, project analysis, and other related measures for the Business Unit. </li> <li> Manages the Business Unit's capital planning process, including support of assumption development, modeling, and consolidation. </li> <li> Collaboration and communication with executives on financial progress and forecasting, operational updates and scorecard development. </li> <li> Forecasts financial results on a quarterly basis </li> <li> Participates in 5 year planning process, including creating scenarios, building income and balance sheets and creating reports for senior management and the Parent. </li> <li> Develops and documents new or changed policies and procedures to provide better financial management, to maximize efficiency and improve internal control. </li> <li> Development, analysis and interpretation of statistical and accounting information in order to identify and/or analyze operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness. </li> <li> Supports system installations, conversions and upgrades, including report design, development and testing. </li> <li> Supports both internal and external audits. </li> <li> Maintains confidentiality of information processed. </li> </ul> <br><br><strong> DIRECTION EXERCISED: </strong><br> <br> Directly supervises exempt and non-exempt staff in accordance with company policies and applicable Federal and State Laws. Other relevant essential functions may be required. <br> <br><strong> EDUCATION OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE: </strong> <br> <br> Bachelor's degree in accounting or Finance. MBA Preferred. Continuous learning as defined by Company's learning philosophy is required. <br><br><strong> EXPERIENCE: </strong> <br> <br> Seven to ten years of relevant experience which provide the necessary skills, knowledge and abilities. Two years of prior supervisory experience. Experience with corporate budgeting, forecasting and planning processes required.
