Electrical Systems Installer Job Summary:
A commercial automotive builder is seeking an Electrical Systems Installer to install electrical systems in heavy commercial vehicles. This position requires a background in electrical systems and 1-3 years installing them.
Electrical Systems Installer Responsibilities:
- Read electrical schematics and engineering drawings as they apply to electrical vehicle system installation
- Ability to run wire by following company approved techniques
- Use of hand and power tools to perform installations
- Work in a variety of positions to complete installs (lifts, ladders, under the chassis, etc.)
Schedule: 1st shift, 6:00 am – 4:00 pm; Monday-Friday
Electrical Systems Installer Qualifications:
- 1-3 years experience installing electrical systems in automotive, heavy equipment or machines
- Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings
- Must have proven attendance history and longevity in past positions
- Critical attention to detail is required
- This job is moderate to heavy in physical requirements. The successful candidate will work on ladders, lifts, crouch, twist, lay prone and on back to do work. Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Valid drivers’ license preferred
