About this Career Opportunity:
- Assesses and evaluates assigned clients.
- Develops IEP or IFEP for those requiring direct or consultative services.
- Plans, initiates, and periodically re-assesses the effectiveness of program and services.
- Provides direct service to clients and consultative services to educational staff/parents.
- Occasionally facilitates the procurement of, fabricates, modifies, or adjusts adaptive equipment.
- Communicates with parents and educational/school therapy staff on a regular basis through telephone calls, meetings, or in writing.
- Keeps an ongoing log of all visits with program objectives and progress.
- Coordinates clients program with other therapists and educational staff for the purpose of achieving uniformity of goals.
- Performs/writes annual/re-evaluation reviews prior to review date.
- Other reviews are prepared as needed and submitted to IEP manager in time for meeting.
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- Possesses minimum of a Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology and a current Speech and Language Pathology license in state providing service.
- Experience with the pediatric population preferred.
