SUMMARY:
Responsible for supervising employees in a manufacturing and assembly environments while making repairs, modifications, and performing preventative maintenance activities. Responsibilities also include assigning work, following policies, procedures, and recommending improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Troubleshooting PLC's, robotics, hydraulics, and maintenance problems
Problem solving ability through teamwork
Maintain accurate records
Minimize equipment down time
Selects, develops, trains, and supervises staff
Work in a manner that is in accordance with established safety procedures
Read, understand, and troubleshoot equipment with the use of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics and prints
Must be willing to expand knowledge to perform the job
Participate and perform in a team environment
Balances quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Works to continuously improve in all areas.
Responsible for looking after your own personal safety and welfare and being mindful of other persons who may be affected by your actions.
Learn, understand, and comply with all safety rules and procedures.
Report any and all safety concerns or issues to the immediate attention of your supervisor or manager.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Must have seven years or more of maintenance and troubleshooting
Must be proficient in PLC troubleshooting, robot troubleshooting and programming, and hydraulic troubleshooting
Experience with PLC controls and troubleshooting
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Computer literate
Ability to develop and implement cost savings ideas
