Must be US Citizens * Raytheon Professional Services (RPS) is seeking cyber security Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for the development of cyber security related courses for multiple programs. * The course materials will be developed as new training materials or modifications of existing materials for Instructor Lead Training (ILT) courses. * The courses are in various states of development ranging from needing analysis to determine what will be developed, the timing of the course and suggested media to analysis is complete and development is underway. Where applicable, we have indicated the status of each of the courses. * SMEs are not expected to be knowledgeable on all courses. SMEs may be assigned to multiple courses depending on bandwidth and knowledge. Course development may not be full time for the Period of Performance (POP) indicated for each course. * Please provide a rate card for SMEs, by course if necessary, for this Statement of Work. Indicated if full time or part time work is preferred.SME Responsibilities & Deliverables RPS utilizes the Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate and sometimes Maintenance process for content development (ADDIE(M)). 1. Analysis phase, the SME works with an RPS architect to identify the topics, lessons and objective to be taught in the course. They will also help with determining the following: a. media type (ILT, lab/exercise, etc) for the topics b. timing for the course and/or module c. sequencing of the course topics/modules 2. During the Design phase, the SME will use the analysis documents and build upon them to lay out the course/module design. This phase is sometimes referred to as a storyboard. 3. During the Development phase, the SME will be responsible for developing the content for the course/modules based on the analysis and design documents. THE SME WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CREATING THE CONTENT PER THE PRESCRIBED MEDIA INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: a. Instructor Lead Training (ILT) b. Job Aides c. On the Job Checklists d. Learning Labs/develop course exercises. Exercises can be conducted in the classroom or web based. Virtual exercises will be cloud based. e. Develop a pool of questions that can be used for: for each course that would be used for the following: i. pre-assessment ii. post-assessment iii. module quizzes 4. During the Implement phase, the SME will help QA the content in the LMS and/or lab environment 5. During the evaluate phase, the SME may be asked to assist with updating content after the course/module has been taught. 6. During the maintenance phase, the SME may be asked to assist with content updates in order to keep the content current. 7. Period of Performance provided is for the design and development phases only and is dependent on individual courses. Start dates are identified below. 8. The assumption is that SMEs will not be required to travel to complete their work. If SMEs are unable to keep to schedule working remotely, then travel will be required. If schedule is compressed then co-location of ISDs and SMEs may be required to meet program deadlines and travel will be required. RPS RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. RPS Instructional System Designers (ISD) will work side by side with the SME. 2. RPS's ISD will take the content provided by the SME and make it instructionally sound. The ISD will be responsible for the formatting and desk top publishing of the content. 3. With the SME's assistance, the ISD will create an Instructor Guide (IG), a Participant Guide (PG), and the presentation slides for the course/module.
