Eisenhower Center is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to provide food service assistance at our residential rehabilitation facility serving adults with acquired brain injury. This individual must be able to prepare, serve and clean up after meal services in the dining room. Also, you will provide supervision and support while Dietary Supervisor is absent. QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license and insurable
Must have a Food Handler’s certificate
Minimum of 3 years food service experience, preferably in a health care setting
Must be able to manage food services operations in the absence of the Food Service Supervisor.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Able to make creative and appealing food presentations
Respect and maintain confidentiality of all client and staff information
Assist with tracking food inventories, usage, and budget.
Awareness and compliance with AFC, Health, Safety and Fire regulations
Prepare and serve meals for clients, staff and visitors
Stay current with all special diet needs of clients and insure they are provided food and drinks that are safe for them to eat
Operate and maintain food service equipment
Do stocking and clean-up as needed as assigned
Take charge of kitchen responsibilities in absence of Dining Services Manager
Assist with special events
Other duties as assigned
