Here’s What You Will Be Doing
- Communicate cross functionally across all levels of the plant while managing and leading on quality process and issues
- Build, develop, coach, train, manage 2 Quality Technicians
- Collect data as well as communicate outcome to plant leaders
- Conduct product launches
- Establish and continue to improve PFMEA
- Perform and complete all internal and external ISO audits for suppliers of DeWys
- Understand and complete PPAP requirements that include IQ, OQ, PQ protocols by utilizing problem solving techniques
- Approve all PPAP submissions.
- Communicate directly with DeWys customers on quality issues
- Report out to leadership team regarding Quality issues within the company
Requirement
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willing to work overtime as necessary
- Sense of humor
- Must have extensive knowledge of PFMEA, Level 3 PPAP, Audit process, and continuous improvement principals.
- Know how to read blueprints, measure parts, and read measurement tools.
- At least 2-5 years related experience in manufacturing, quality/engineering area
- Previous management experience
- Experience in quality systems development (processes on the floor), implementation and auditing procedures a must
