The SCSEP Program Office Assistant position is a paid part-time work training position. Applicants must meet program eligibility to apply:

ABOUT THE POSITION
The Office Assistant provides clerical support that contributes to AARP Foundation SCSEP office efficiencies. This includes work with files and filing systems, updates to record information via data entry using computer and keyboard, reception duties to answer and direct calls and general clerical support with copy, fax, and scanning of documents.
*Candidates must have reliable transportation.
The AARP Foundation Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) has provided people age 55 and over with opportunities to receive paid part-time, entry-level job training for over 50 years. Qualifying seniors get paid to train on the job.
OTHER BENEFITS
We provide participants with training and support services that are important for finding future employment. The services include Individual Employment Plan (IEP) development, specialized training to prepare for placements, paid wages, some fringe benefits and assistance in securing future employment.
