Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
* Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
* This position is subject to the Internal Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution in the following disciplines preferred: Materials, Metallurgical, or Chemical.
* Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment or lab environment.
* Experience in investment casting.
* Knowledge of MS Office and Excel, excellent written and oral communication skills, able to work in a self-directed or team environment, and have good organizational skills.
* Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and ABS.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with knowledge of statistical analysis tools.
* Knowledge and training in physical metallurgy.
* The ability to set up and analyze fluid flow, heat transfer and stress/strain analyses of Arconic Engines' manufacturing processes.
* 3D CAD Experience (Siemens NX, Solidworks, Catia, etc.)
* Numerical Simulation experience (FEA, CFD)
* Simulation Software experience (ANSYS, Abaqus, NASTRAN, Fluent, etc.)
