Position Description:
Responsible for DESIGNing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems. Determines DESIGN approaches and parameters. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data and conducts experimental tests and evaluates results. Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
Skills Required:
High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult. Understanding of engineering theory and principles of DESIGN. Oral and written communications skills. High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.

Training in college level theoretical and applied mechanics, vibrations, fluid dynamics, physics, metallurgy, electricity, thermodynamics, heat transfer and techniques. Training in computer applications.
