Position Summary
The Institute for Quantitative Health Sciences and Engineering is called IQ for its dedication to the development of intelligent solutions to the most-pressing biomedical quandaries facing scientists and clinicians. To address these important problems, we have gathered some of the most creative minds from around the country to build integrative programs that bridge disciplines and integrate strategies for convergent tactical solutions.
Our research-oriented faculty bring to IQ a deep and wide set of multidisciplinary expertise bridging many areas of biomedical science. This expertise exists within a culture and architecture that fosters openness and collaboration and ensures convergence in science. This structure gives us the greatest chances of making discoveries and creating technologies that dramatically impact clinical care and fundamentally change our understanding of the basic biology of health and disease.
IQ is recruiting motivated research associates, postdoctoral researchers, to advance these fields and is inviting applications from outstanding candidates for up to 15 Postdoctoral positions in the several areas of biomedical research including; biomedical devices, biomedical imaging, chemical biology, developmental and stem cell biology, neuroengineering, structural biology, synthetic biology, systems biology, motion analytics and precision health.

Summary of Health Risks
- Exposure to human blood, serum, tissue and other body fluids; and materials covered under Universal Precautions.
- TB risk or work within 3 feet of human patients in a health care setting or have potential exposure to animals or to specimens with Mycobacterium.
- Work with animals or unfixed animal tissue.
- Risks that have been identified by Environmental Health and Safety, such as exposure to isoflurane, radioactive materials, etc.
