Tenneco isseeking a driven, self-motivated Engineering focused student who has an interest in gaining hands-on experience working atour fast paced Clean Air Manufacturing facility located in Marshall, Michigan.
As aTenneco Summer EngineeringIntern, you will be given the opportunity to learn about yourchosen career field through hands-on work, management shadowing opportunities,and training events, among other responsibilities that support theEngineering department.
REQUIREMENTS:
Required ofan Intern:
Must be able to travel throughout the term of the internship
Must be able to work independently and in a team based environment
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Effective time management skills
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
MinimumQualifications:
Student currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's Degree from an accreditedinstitution
Student with a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher
Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship periodMay-August 2020
Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's license
Ability to provide own transportation to/from the job site
Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
PreferredQualifications:
Student currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's in Engineering, MechanicalEngineering, Industrial Engineering, or ManufacturingEngineering from an accredited institution
Student with a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
