The Service Parts Author is a salaried bargaining unit position and will be responsible for building service catalogs for domestic and international markets using Teamcenter based knowledge and systems. The Service Parts Author will determine the necessary parts to complete parts illustrations as well as adding the graphical representations with appropriate component relationships. They will also troubleshoot escalated part issues for all markets and create catalog notes and information to assist dealership parts personnel.
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree
•Experience with auto parts functions, vehicle components or automotive mechanics
•Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
•Analytical and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
•Dealership Service/Parts or mechanical experience a plus
•FCA Technician training or equivalent preferred to support knowledge of vehicle systems
