Mechanical aptitude and previous industrial experience in operating equipment is a strong plus, specifically in Aluminum Die Cast machines. Must work safely and efficiently to make production rates to get parts to our customers on time. Safety is a 24/7 commitment at Pace. Process Engineer Duties and Responsibilities
•Ensure the fulfillment of the established safety rules.
•Audit the activities of Die Cast Technicians for completion and accuracy to ensure process effectiveness.
•Provide training and leadership to the Die Cast Technicians to improve their capabilities.
•Manage process control, accessories (including robotics) and electronic display screens for all equipment related to the Die Casting process.
•Ensure communication between shifts is thorough and timely regarding performance of the die cast equipment and coordinate team activities of the die cast technicians to facilitate achievement of die cast uptime targets.
•Provide tooling improvements that help to increase the productivity and reduce the waste.
•Ensure processes are followed with regard to the Die Casing process while evaluating and recommending improvements.
•Collaborate with machining department on die casting quality performance and lead troubleshooting efforts related to the die cast process.
•Collaborate with the product design team and tooling in order to assure efficient production methods.
•Works with the engineering groups and manufactures to plan and to accomplish establish standards and improve capacities.
•Supervise and help in the installation of equipment and machinery to assure that we are operating according to established manufacturing specifications.
•Provide training and help to the employees of Die Cast area.

Position Requirements
2 to 3 Years of Experience in Leadership and Industrial, Metallurgical or Mechanical Engineering. Technical degree preferred, will consider comparable working experience.
2 to 3 years of experience in Die casting processes
Strong performance with process control, lean tools and visual aids
High level of competency in Microsoft Office (WORD, EXCEL. POWERPOINT, etc.)
Strong background in high pressure Aluminum injection molding preferred.
Strong background in Metrology and Tolerances.
Work Hours:
1st shift - Flexible based on candidate and plant needs, this position does support multiple shift, primary hours will be generally between 6:00am - 2:30pm.This is a salary position.
