DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Site Manager is responsible for sales and service at a major account based in Warren, Michigan.
Responsibilities:
* Accountable for the successful profitability of an OEM plant paint product lines from electrocoat to topcoat including bumper products, through the organization, management, implementation, communication and planning of PPG personnel and products to achieve maximum customer service and product performance.
* Directs 8 person technical service team
* Meets agreed upon goals for sales, business growth, expense control, and others. Gathers competitive information and devises strategies to ensure PPG's success.
* Develops people, and directs activities to improve performance.
* Identifies and resolves problems with various customers and prepares accurate business plans including forecasts. Manages inventory programs, sample programs, and new product introduction programs.
