General Purpose and Scope of Position
The People & Culture Business Partner plays a critical role in partnering with our business leaders to achieve the Agribusiness Division’s strategic objectives. This position acts as a consultant within the business; anticipating and analyzing problems to develop and implement actionable solutions that drive business performance and employee engagement. With an emphasis on relationship building, outstanding customer service, culture championing, the P&C Business Partner will be a key driver in identifying the right people with the right skills necessary for business growth. These areas of concentration and accompanying activities will also provide critical data that feeds directly into workforce demand planning and succession planning. The P&C Business Partner will be traveling in the field at locations to establish a strong support presence with leadership and employees. This role will serve as a liaison with Corporate Human Resources functions in representing regional needs.

Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:
•Build relationships with leadership and develop a strong understanding of their business, their goals and challenges
•Consultative partnership with management to identify and create solutions for all people matters including recruiting strategy, investigations and performance coaching, employee development, career development and succession planning
•Provide expert insight into people and organizational challenges. Translate business strategies into appropriate people and organizational actions
•Assist managers with the development and documentation of employee goals and objectives to support the business and enhance employee development through calibration 9 -grid and interactive conversations
•Lead succession planning activities throughout the regions supported, ensuring strategies are built for both short- and long-term business needs and changes
•Identify and participate in career discussions with internal employees, help to link needs and support
•Supporting hiring managers to identify recruiting needs with staffing plans and support of the talent team when appropriate
•Actively participate in annual budgeting process, identifying and influencing decisions around organizational efficiency.
•Influence leaders and employees to drive our core values across their teams and ensure talent output aligns to company goals
•Be a key member of the People & Culture team helping to develop world-class people programs and capabilities
•Working cooperatively with recruiting coordinators and people & culture generalists with assisting on recruiting needs to ensure open positions are posted and filled in a timely manner with outstanding candidates
