Office Manager (Clerk III) Seeking experienced Office Manager with a manufacturing background Grand Rapids, MI Description: The Office Coordinator (Manager) reports to the Facility Manager and has primary responsibility for clerical / administrative duties of a varied and / or specialized nature. Duties include but not limited to: * Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office to ensure its smooth operation. * Maintains office services by greeting visitors answering and directing phone calls, organizing operations and procedures, controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing and approving supply requisitions and various clerical functions as needed. * Leads record management efforts in accordance with company policies inclusive of retention, protection, retrieval transfer and destruction. * Designs and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures, measuring results and driving improvements. * Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing reports, summarizing information and identifying trends. * Helps maintain site staff by recruiting, selecting and onboarding new employees. * Help achieve financial objectives by managing against an annual budget, schedule expenditures, analyzing variances and driving continuous improvement. * Aid the facility is tracking quality and environmental, health, safety, and security (EHSS) trainings for new and existing employees * Assist the facility during internal and external audits. * Helps ensure visitors and contractors are properly badged and trained before entering the facility while maintaining the visitor and contractor personal protective equipment (PPE) station. * Assist the site management team with its 3rd party certifications such as ISO through document control, audit schedules and reports, and tracking progress to deadlines. * Organize all on-site events such as safety celebrations, holiday parties, and business meetings and maintain meeting room schedules, availability, and setup.This position is full-time and flexible scheduling may be considered depending on candidate s preference. Required Skills Minimum Requirements: * Must have 4+ years of administrative experience * Needs a high school diploma or equivalent * Strong business acumen * Strong organizational and time management skills * Strong problem solving skills and analytical abilities * 1 + years of experience working with an ERP system * Must have 2 years + of experience with Microsoft Office Suites (Excel and Word) Preferred Requirements: * Bachelor s degree * Experience using SharePoint * Experience using SAP (ERP system) Employees are eligible for full benefits, including medical, dental, insurance, 401k contribution, paid time off and paid holidays.
