Test Engineer
IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY
Test Engineer will be responsible for executing test plans/test procedures, documenting test results, and to provide analysis of gather test results. Test Engineer will also work closely with the development team to provide technical support, assist with troubleshooting on internal problems, and using data/findings from testing to propose solutions and suggest improvements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Operates lab equipment and instruments following established procedures as needed.
•Finds, collects and gathers information, report generation and maintenance of accurate records.
•Provides opinions and interpretations of test data when required.
•Establishes test timelines and equipment limitations and communicate to Customer and Manager.
•Supports Product Engineers with training
•Develops and defines new test procedures
•Recommends, designs and builds new test equipment as required for performing tests
•Provides training to Test Lab Technicians
•Supports calibration of test equipment
•Conduct continuous improvement projects
•Supports Product Engineering and customer meetings
•Support and organize outsourced testing
•Create presentations on engineering findings
QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
•Associate degree in a technical field
•Minimum 3 years of position related experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related field
•Minimum 3 – 5 years of Thermal Management experience
