Short Description
The copywriter intern will support marketing and communications team in organizing and creating inspiring content for marketing, corporate communications and sales initiatives. The copywriter intern will gain valuable experience through practicing their craft in a professional environment. Some valuable insights learned will include project management, different writing styles for different business needs, global insight through working with cross-functional teams across our global footprint. This role will create organic content to support digital media initiatives, advertising, collateral and other marketing & communication needs. The output of the work will result in global alignment of our Gentherm message and voice.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Create organization file management system for product and general company copy
• Gather, organize messaging across all product lines and corporate communication
• Write, repurpose and edit copy for product lines and general company information for all marketing channels
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Proofread and edit all information submitted to creative team for accuracy
Minimum Requirements:
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Strategy, Marketing or Data Analytics is preferred
• Motivated, goal-oriented and high performing with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and deliver high quality work under tight timelines
• Strong interpersonal skills, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working both independently and with a cross-functional team
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint (Knowledge of Excel formulas and pivot tables a plus)
• Fluency (written and oral) in English.
