Our Divisional Brands Specialist, under supervision supports key stakeholders on the National Category team, Divisional Marketing teams, Regional Merchandising teams, and with vendors to create strategies to achieve branded sales and margin. In this role you will: * Develop communication of relevant product and vendor information to support regional, divisions, Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Brands and other departments as appropriate * Maintain category relationships through regular communication and Divisional Business Reviews * Collaborate with Marketing & Merchandising Service Center (MMSC) and Regional peers to resolve issues and share ideas * Provide support and recommendations in the development of strategies, providing insight to achieve volume and margin targets in support of segmented customer and brand marketing plans * Collaborate with the Category Manager, Regional Merchandising, and Divisional Merchandising to ensure that appropriate products are effectively prioritized, marketed and merchandised * Assist the Divisional Marketing Manager in developing product marketing tools and tactics in collaboration with the Brands, Marketing Communications, and Regional Merchandising * Execute all aspects of the product lifecycle management process from initial sourcing and market introduction to deletion * Effectively manage expenses within budget for associated tools and promotions such as advertising videos, brand swag, etc * Maintain a working knowledge of quality assurance requirements for products, GFS brands, and vendor compliance. Works with Quality Assurance to review compliance for GFS brands, vendor requirements for assigned product lines. * Work collaboratively with other peers towards continuous improvement of existing processes and development of new tools to drive greater business efficiencies * Assist Brand Divisional Support Manager with planning and prioritization of divisional action plans. * Develop and manage strategic relationships with select vendors through regular communications. * Collect, analyze, summarize and present product brand sales and financial performance data to create recommendations and implement improvements in support of Divisional brand plans * Be responsible for development and tracking of divisionally specific action plans built to meet divisional brand objectives * Assist the Brand Divisional Support Manager in building and supporting promotional plans and training requirements to meet brand objectives What we need from you: * At least 3 years of product / category knowledge or previous marketing experience * Proficiency with Google Applications (gmail, docs, slides, sheets, etc) * Ability to learn and effectively use proprietary sales and margin performance reporting systems (i.e., MicroStrategies, DecisionKey, Direct Link, IDS/Retalix) * Data Analysis / Analytics Skills - Proficiency in analyzing information; able to use analytics and associated tools (e.g., Excel, Access, Google applications) in creative ways to tell the product story, garner buy-in, provide insights and to support decision-making * Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field strongly preferred
