Branch Lead Employee:
•Assist members in a friendly, professional manner, and support the Credit Union's mission statement
•Mentor and train employees to build relationships with members
•Collaborate with managers to train and mentor employees, while maintaining confidentiality
•Analyze, research, and resolve problems and discrepancies
•Use knowledge and judgment to protect members and the Credit Union from loss
•Understand and comply with regulations relating to financial products and services
•Follow safety and security procedures regarding robbery and emergency situations, third party access to secure areas, and communicate suspicious activity to management
•Manage time efficiently and take initiative within the branch; seek opportunities to develop or enhance knowledge
•Demonstrate initiative, integrity, responsibility, and dependability
•Actively participate and mentor others in Credit Union initiatives and promotions and achieve assigned goals
•Educate current and prospective members about Credit Union products and services
•Actively assist members and employees with incoming calls
•Use critical thinking skills to identify problems and improve processes
•Monitor, analyze and create branch metrics to determine branch performance toward strategic initiatives
•Assist with the creation of the branch schedule; monitor daily
•Have working knowledge of required duties and responsibilities of a Financial Service Representative/Loan Officer; act in this capacity as branch volume requires
•Participate in training activities to ensure compliance with Credit Union policies and state and federal regulations and laws
•Perform other duties and assist others, as assigned
Duties and Responsibilities
Branch Lead I:
•Train and support employees to achieve branch and Credit Union goals with support from management
•Communicate with management when observing employee behavior that supports or contradicts credit union core values
•Assume risk and utilize lending limits commensurate with level, while mentoring coworkers in the development of their lending ability
•Assess, develop and lead branch trainings with support from management
•Support Credit Union direction while helping others understand the purpose
•Develop, monitor and garner participation for branch promotions to support Credit Union goals
•Demonstrate adaptability when faced with complex situations
•Act as in-charge person within the branch in the absence of management as needed
•Oversee the completion of audits and branch duties
•Perform all of the Branch Lead Employee duties and responsibilities
Branch Lead II:
•Train and support employees to achieve branch and Credit Union goals independently
•Assume risk and utilize lending limits commensurate with level, while mentoring coworkers in Credit Union philosophy
•Assess, develop and lead branch trainings
•Anticipate employee questions regarding Credit Union direction while finding solutions with support from management
•Assess branch performance and design promotions to achieve branch goals
•Manage complex situations independently
•Act as in-charge person throughout the branches in the absence of management as needed
•Perform all of the Branch Lead Employee and Branch Lead I duties and responsibilities
Senior Branch Lead:
•Become a known resource throughout the Credit Union
•Make recommendations for improvements and efficiencies
•Teach others to develop, monitor and garner participation for branch promotions to support Credit Union goals
•Teach others to manage complex situations while demonstrating adaptability
•Work with a high level of independence
•Master the Branch Lead Employee, Branch Lead I and Branch Lead II duties and responsibilitie
