The Early Equipment Management /World Class Technology Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination all Early Equipment Management (EEM) documentation requirements and meetings with FCA vendors. This position coordinates all documentation requirements for bid package development for equipment and tooling purchases, tracks the steps of EEM throughout the equipment build and delivery schedule as well as coordinates the deliverables for the plants/customers of manufacturing engineering relative to the WCM equipment standards. The EEM/WCT Coordinator will be responsible for gaining signoff from the plants/customers for deliverables when finished.
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
•2+ years of experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
•Ability to prepare schedule of activities using tracking matrices to show progress
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to make data driven decisions
•Ability to develop creative, workable solutions across functional organizations
•Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Preferred Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
•Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing and/or World Class Manufacturing (WCM)
•Strong leadership skills with the ability to transform/create a strong team
