The Human Resources Generalist will provide front line guidance to plant operating management and employees in all aspects of human resources specifically labor relations, collective agreement application, and HR policy interpretation.
Job responsibilities include but not limited to:
•Equitable administration of the collective agreement including grievance administration, interpretation and overall compliance
•Facilitating effective management/union relations
•Administration of attendance program
•Coaching, guiding and providing direction to operating management on assigned shift
•Implementation of lean manufacturing activities
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree
•Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
•Available to work variable shifts, including weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business or related field
•Strong project management, organizational and interpersonal skills
•Knowledge of G Suite applications
•Human resources or manufacturing experience
•Possess exceptional oral and written communications skills
•Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
