The role of a Performance and Analytics Brand Analyst involves many different responsibilities. The analyst will be responsible for supporting the brand lead and manager in building strong partnerships with the corresponding Client Brand Analytics Manager, Business Owner, and other agency partners. The ideal candidate must be able to proactively communicate ideas and opportunities, as well as conduct in depth analysis to support recommendations and insights. They are also responsible for executing data quality assurance based on rigorous protocols and have strong project management skills. This role also includes the ability to independently troubleshoot and address quality control issues, generate reports and analysis from data and merge and generate data sets for analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage a variety of tools to deliver rapid-response data mining and insights, while also working on large, multifaceted analysis
- Ability to independently complete ad-hoc analysis, summarizing results, and identify actionable insights
- Utilize data mining techniques and queries to gather business intelligence
- Support management and brand leads on medium/large ad-hoc projects
- Ability to turn data into insightful findings and business recommendations
- Develop Email CRM/CLM measurement plans and execute analysis based on requirements within the plan
- Understanding of marketing principles and how to leverage data to make decisions
- Drive process improvement and quality control for key deliverables
- Prioritize own tasks and workload with minimal supervision
- Works effectively with partners and/or other suppliers to deliver overall solutions to clients for email campaign initiatives
- Proactively identifies issues and escalates them when necessary
- Confirm data integrity and perform analyses to identify trends
Education and Experience:
- Strong knowledge of CRM terminology and methods
- Strong knowledge of email measurements and best practices
- Self-starter with 2-4 years of analytic experience in a Marketing environment
- Must demonstrate strong analytical skills with proven success in producing ad-hoc analyses
- Working knowledge of web site analytic platforms including Adobe Marking Cloud products (Site Catalyst, Ad-Hoc Analysis) and Tableau 8 a plus
- Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Pride in work product with high accountability, initiative, and thought leadership
- Must be able to handle multiple clients and projects simultaneously
- Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or Marketing preferred
- Highly accountable self-starter with the ability to work well within a group, as well as independently
