Position Summary
Performs various activities within the warehouse. Primarily selecting customer orders in either a pick to pallet or pick to tote operation. Performs miscellaneous duties throughout the warehouse operation. Selector, damage/salvage and hand loaders are offered these jobs by seniority as upgrades occur. A general warehouseman is assigned duties that do not involve any type of hilo or portering work.
Minimum Requirements
Degrees
High School Diploma (Preferred)
or equivalent.
Job Experience
One year warehouse experience.
Supervisory Experience
NONE
Responsibilities and Essential Duties
Selector - riding carjack and selecting orders.
Damage/Salvage - retrieves cases from aisles and recoups damage. Generate coupons, etc.
Handloaders - does add ones, rebills, bunzel, and cross dock product merged with a stores regular order.

Knowledge, Skills Abilities
Must be able to follow verbal (oral) and written instructions. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse operation. Able to safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and other material handling/industrial equipment. Must follow safe working practices in accordance with Company safety policies and practices. Ability to work in multi-temperature areas as assigned (e.g. freezer, coolers, dry conditions).

Employees must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned, and must be able to work in the condition specified for 8-10 hours shift.
