COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST
WORLD HEADQUARTERS, SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN
As a member of the Legal & Compliance team, the Compliance Specialist will be responsible for supporting and managing a variety of compliance related projects and initiatives.
The Role
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
•Work closely with the global compliance and legal teams on a variety of compliance-related projects, including preparation of presentations, various investigations, data privacy, training and committee preparation
•Compose/run periodic and ad hoc compliance reports on a timely basis
•Prepare compliance reports for presentations, maintain and update various compliance databases, and update compliance training records
•Maintain the responsibility of intake, management and disposition of complaints to the Ethics and Compliance hotline; provide support to program directors and investigators
•Analyze/assess efficiency of investigations and report findings to CCO
•Prioritize regular workload, special tasks and concurrent projects, allocating time and resources to ensure that work is completed accurately and efficiently within established time frame
Your Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree required
•Experience in compliance matters, including Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, Antitrust, Conflict of Interest, Fraud, etc.
•Exercises good judgment, and is highly organized, process-driven, detail-oriented, responsible and conscientious
•Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines and confidential matters in a highly discrete and sensitive manner. Good time and resource management skills
•Highly resourceful, efficient, self-starter, driven, willingness to grow and learn new skills
•Attention to detail is a must
•Excellent written and communication skills
•Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, with focus on Excel and PowerPoint
