Cape Fox Federal Integrators is seeking an experienced
Cyber Systems Operations Specialists to support the
USAF/ANG. This positions is contingent upon award. This
position requires an active TS clearance.
The Cyber Systems Operations Specialists ensure the
availability, reliability, sustainability, operations,
and administration of information technology servers,
data storage and software applications. The Cyber
Systems Operations Specialists demonstrate a solid
understanding of information systems (IS) technologies,
protocols, standards, and applications to integrate
cyberspace systems and applications into the Remotely
Piloted Aircraft - Squadron Operations Center (RPA-SOC)
Enterprise. Cyber Systems Operations Specialists make
use of key competencies including servers, core
services, distributed applications, security, enterprise
storage, database administration, messaging, application
monitoring, and client interfaces. Cyber System
Operations Specialists leverage strong skills to support
the identification, reconnaissance and exploitation of
vulnerabilities within cyberspace environments to
achieve desired effects.
Responsibilities include:
Serve as a systems administrator supporting 24/7
operations of critical real-time USAF/ANG mission
operations.
Maintain the Predator / Reaper Operations Center (POC)
in an operational ready state and assist operations
teams with solutions to real time issues, both computer
and communications related.
Implement system security policy, host and client
access, file permissions, and user accounts.
Set-up, test, configure, and troubleshoot issues on
Local Area Networks and mission systems.
Perform routine network administration and maintenance.
Perform software installation, maintenance and
upgrade/modification.
Perform server and system data backup and recovery.
Deploy and manage desktop patches, updates or
upgrades/installations.
Code, test, debug and install application systems in
operational environment.
Research, evaluate, install, configure, and troubleshoot
all hardware, peripherals, and equipment necessary to
meet integrated systems objectives.
Assist in resolving network and desktop operating system
issues and researching needed technical solutions.
Manage configuration and operation of Windows Operating
Systems, Exchange, Systems Management Server (SMS), and
Active Directory.
Monitor system logs and activity on all servers and
devices for potential problems.
Troubleshoot problems with networks, web services, mail
services and overall systems for successful mission
accomplishment.
Provide technical support and solutions for all system
issues involving configuration and maintenance of
network operating systems.
Troubleshoot network, systems, and applications to
identify and correct malfunctions and other operational
problems.
Coordinate referrals to appropriate technical,
professional or service personnel for respective
services, repairs, training and follow-up.
Provide help desk type support as required.
Assist customer to define, document, and integrate
required computer, communications and intelligence
capabilities to enhance PREDATOR and POC missions.
Organize and manage technical multi-disciplined project
tasks.
Ensure follow-up with customers with corrective actions
taken to resolve issues.
Ensure customer satisfaction by responding to Service
Requests in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
Consult with users to identify current operating
procedures and to clarify complex program objectives.
Systems monitored include: NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS,
internal/external voice communications system(s), VoIP,
NSTS phone system, Video Teleconferencing Center, and
video dissemination.
Requirements:
An active TS clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI is
required.
A+ and Network+ certifications are required.
(CCNA or CCNP) or (VCP5 or VCP6) or (MCSA or MCSE
Windows Server 2008 or higher) Certification is
required.
Experience with Networks, Long-haul Communications
and/or Systems Administration is required.
Advanced knowledge in how critical Full Motion Video
(FMV) systems (encoders and hardware) generate and
deliver data through existing Asynchronous Transfer Mode
data, network performance software, or ATM equipment
configuration and ATM network troubleshooting is
required.
Operational aircrew experience is desired.
