DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Georgia-Pacific is currently seeking a Technical Service Representative for our Color-Box® business, which manufactures high-graphic corrugated boxes. The role will be based at a customer location in Battle Creek, Michigan.
The Technical Service Representative will serve as an integral member of the Georgia-Pacific team with direct accountability for the material and supply management of a significant account. The position will serve as an on-site liaison between this account and several Georgia-Pacific factories and offices
A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
* Facilitate information flow such as production delays, logistic delays, new projects to all parties involved
* Generate and review weekly MRP’s for each of the account’s 7 categories
* Use production reports to generate forecasts
* Responsible for write-offs and inventory management
* Communicate with plants that orders are on time and accurate
* Act as point of contact for all GP Business
* Attend weekly promotional and project meetings with customer
* Communication with procurement and buyers on functions as they arise
* R&D packaging support
