For more information, visit MISSION / SUMMARY: * Learning designed to develop engineering skills, provide fast-track industry experience, and teach \\"hands-on\\" engineering processes and strategies * Develop relationships with leadership and operators * Lead engineering projects that impact key business initiatives - sometimes individual projects, and sometimes leading a team * Attends and participates in department meetings as scheduled * Troubleshooting of tasks based on need - can be in various areas including the papermachines, stock prep, waste water, powerhouse and any other area required * Provides support implementing best practices to improve safety, quality, productivity and cost reduction JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include, but are not limited to the following. * Proactively complete learning curriculum * Manage, report regularly upon, and complete your projects * Actively participate in special project teams of which you are a part * Various Manufacturing Analysis * Other duties as assigned BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE: * Your prior experiences must demonstrate initiative, intellectual curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, success managing multiple priorities, an affinity for working in a manufacturing operations environment, and working well in a team under deadline pressure. Prior experience may include internships, co-op assignments, summer jobs, and volunteer work, leadership roles in student or college-affiliated organizations, full-time or part-time positions. Work experience related to field of study is desirable. * *Prior full time experience in engineering is considered but not required. EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS: * Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Pulp and Paper Science, Packaging, Printing, Electrical, Mechanical or related degree * *Advanced Degree considered but not required OTHER REQUIREMENTS: * Curiosity. This is a rotational program, so relocation is required. We assist with relocation; you bring the ability and desire to relocate. * Get your Hands Dirty.
