IT Project Manager
Description:
- Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
- Oversee high-level programs and teams of technical resources. Must organize, manage, control, and direct all activities for the program. Lead status meetings with project team. Make presentation on the program status to management and directors. Implement and streamline consistent processes across project teams. Develop and maintain project documentation such as project schedule, project log, meeting minutes, and project categorization. Facilitate meetings with business partners to resolve complex problems and review project updates. Familiar with a variety of the fields concept, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Works under general supervision, typically reports to a team lead or supervisor/manager. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related area and eight plus years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management – Ability and discipline to initiate, plan and execute specific goals and criteria within project scope
- Content Inventory – Conduct content audits, content gap analysis and other standard content strategy discovery, understanding current process and improve to a more proactive approach
- Content Optimization - Conduct workshops with stakeholders to review and update existing content (i.e. determining appropriate tags for content, mapping of content to new portal, deleting outdated content, updating relevant content) Ability to suggest strategic vision based on best practices, requirements and creative content experience.
- Content Migration – Move content from existing portal to new portal; Map content to new site architecture and identify/address content gaps
- Assist in the development and review of copy
- Provide status reporting to project and leadership teams
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of experience
- Experience working with a content management system
- Strong attention to detail and follows through
- Proven ability to facilitate meetings and conduct strategic content audit with business owners
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across multiple teams to support various business needs while remaining consistent with a broader communications strategy
- Experience working in fast paced environment with ability to achieve deadline deliverables, while multi-tasking and supporting multiple teams simultaneously
- Self-starter with the ability to initiate programs and lead projects with little supervision
