We have exciting opportunities for exceptional candidates to work directly on automated driving features on some of the most successful vehicle brands in the industry for FCA’s ambitious rollout plan. As a member of FCA’s Automated Driving Software team, you will be responsible for the design, development, simulation, testing, integration, and deployment of the latest cutting edge technologies across platforms to consumer markets worldwide.
This position will function as a member of the Automated Driving Software team. The candidate will be responsible for support design, build, and operation of multiple software and technology stacks for autonomous driving software. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of configuration and automation of software build tools, integration of health checks on pipelines, understanding of single points of failure and notifications. The DevOps engineer will work with other development staff and software engineers to tackle the coding and scripting needed to connect elements of code, such as libraries or software development kits (SDKs), and integrate other components.
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related Engineering field
•A minimum of 1 year of DevOps development experience in software development environment
•Experience with script automation and continuous Integration.
•Experience with Docker containers, Debian packages, Jenkins/Zuul (Open Stack), deployment technology such as Ansible, Artifactory, C Make/Bazel or, Git
•Experience in programming languages such as C/C++, or Python
•Good communication skills and the ability to interface with HIL testing, vehicle integration and validation engineering organizations
•Ability to interface with Tier I and Tier II automotive suppliers and partners
Preferred Qualifications:
•Master of Science degree from an ABET accredited university
•Experience working within an Agile/Scrum software development process
•Experience with industry cryptographic protocols, key handling, chain of trust processing, and anti-spoofing techniques
•Understanding of ADAS software fundamentals
•Experience with authoring ASIL compliant software code and use of both static and dynamic functional safety code analysis tools.
•Experience with open source scanning tools
