Qualifications: Must have a valid Registered Nurse license. Knowledge and understanding with Incontinence, Ostomy & Urological supplies. Must be an empathic and caring individual. Must be comfortable in an office setting assisting patients over the phone. Possess excellent customer service and computer skills.
Primary Function of Position: To help others live a better life by assisting in medical supply selection and assessment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills, being able to speak clearly while on the phone performing assessment / samples choices, etc.
? Being comfortable on a computer while talking on the phone and inputting data.
? Performs assessment with callers for medical needs to meet all contractual obligations.
? Performing reassessment for any product changes, increase or acute conditions.
? Ensures quantities dispended match needs, based on nursing assessments and physician orders.
? Become familiar with Medicare quantities and limitation for Ostomy and Urological supplies.
? Intervene in any difficult patient call related to nursing situations.
? Assist with quality assurance, as needed.
