POSITION: Process Technician
REPORTS TO: Manufacturing/Process Engineer
SUMMARY:
Reponsible for the technical aspect of the plasticc injection and rubber molding processes. Someone that has a knowledge of plastics and would be able to learn the process for rubber molding.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain Injection Molding Machinery
- Start up of Injection Molding Machinery
- Adjust and Maintain quality parts
- Monitor process and cycle times
- Robotic and End of arm experience
- Accurate Completion of paperwork, repair orders, pm’s, change logs, startup
- Robot experience – six axis a plus
- Mold setting experience

Must have good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with maintenance, tooling and production, and other plant and office personnel. Attention to detail and accuracy. Must understand decoupled molding and be versed in working in a manufacturing environment.
EDUCATION &/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent; and at least 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in plastic injection and/or rubber molding.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
knowledge of basic math
COMPUTER SKILLS:
knowledge of Microsoft Office
REASONING ABILITY:
Must be able to communicate with supervision and production operators about possible production issues.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must be able to obtain a hi-lo and over head crane liscense.
