Fraud Prevention Investigator
The Fraud Prevention Investigator role will be responsible for researching and investigating suspicious/fraudulent activity independently, while adhering to all department and regulatory standards. This role will handle a wide variety of cases with the ability to identify fraud schemes and characteristics of red flags. This role will also take appropriate action steps to protect Comerica's assets and minimize losses using various internal systems.

Position Responsibilities:
•Accumulate information regarding initial stages of investigation. This includes basic information relative to type of issue involved, identities of the parties involved, types of evidence which may be collected, and preparation of initial reports. Form and express opinions regarding the likely course of further investigation.
•Utilize computers and industry specific software on investigations or projects.
•Prepare customer documentation for review and authorization.
•Perform fewer complex investigations under the guidance of experienced investigators.
•Learn and comply with all documentation standards regarding case files.
•Develop a liaison relationship with various business units and outside investigative agencies.
•Assist other team members as directed.
Position Qualifications
•Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in the field of Business, Finance or Criminal Justice or 2 years of experience in Financial Services or Fraud
•2 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications including Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
•2 years of experience with Federal Banking RegulationsComerica Oaktec BuildingMonday - Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Rotating Shifts
