Description: To support production by providing markers for various contracts and work orders. Provide tracking data calculating marker length piece tariffs and materials usage as well as material type and color.
Major Responsibilities:
- Generate Gerber Accumark markers for supporting production.
- Work closely with the Cutting Supervisor to manage day to day issues associated with the production schedule and material shortages.
- Generate tracking data to accompany marker packages. Data includes marker length and width, material usage, piece counts, and bundle codes where required.
- Provide updated model and or markers when design revisions are made to patterns.
- Perform sizing/grading on products when required.
- Generate data for use in efficiency studies on ballistic markers.
- Other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Ability to adapt to a changing fast paced environment.
- Experience on Accumark Software
Physical demands;
- Ability to communicate effectively with both subordinates and superiors.
- Sitting for extended periods.
- Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential to meet job responsibilities.
- Able to perform basic mathematic calculations.
- Good manual dexterity to meet job responsibilities.
- Good reasoning ability is required to solve a wide range of problems.
- Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
This job is indoors in a traditional manufacturing/warehouse setting. Activities will include both sitting and standing. These activities will occur in the production areas. Although the position is indoors there will be varying temperatures between different areas.
