Organization Development - Manager
Location: Chicago, Oak Brook, Indianapolis, Grand Rapids, South Bend
The Organization Development Manager will work closely with the Learning and Talent Development team to identify and develop strategic organizational effectiveness initiatives that enhance performance, productivity, and employee engagement levels. This individual is an internal consultant who understands and analyzes the needs of the business to design and deliver impactful, innovative, leading edge talent solutions. This includes working with individuals, teams, functional units, and the organization as a whole to facilitate change in the firm.
This role will initially be focused on supporting the change management for the many transformation initiatives we are focused on as firm. This involves collaborating and interacting with internal clients and consulting with both sponsors, stakeholders and project team members to successfully support key programs in the firm. In addition to the change management focus, the successful individual in this role will need to partner closely with all stakeholders firmwide, manage the business leader relationships, along with the resources on the internal team to design, develop and implement innovative talent programs. Key Accountabilities:
Stakeholder Management and Program Implementation
•Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with functions and groups within Crowe.
•Partners closely with other organization development team members for program design, development and implementation, and in some cases with key business leaders
Change Management and Program Design
•Leads and supports large-scale change efforts needed to help Crowe achieve its vision by assessing readiness for change, the impact of culture on change, intervention design to increase employee’ ownership of the change and development of communication and implementation strategies
•Works with key stakeholders to lead project teams in the design, development, delivery and evaluation of programs
•Demonstrates expertise in measurement strategies by designing measurement systems and tools, and evaluating intervention effectiveness
•Create learning solutions for OD related solutions which are innovative and improve the performance of our managers and leaders
•Coach leaders on the successful skills they need to practice change agility for their initiatives
Thought Leadership
•Is a lifelong learner, continuously developing knowledge and skills in areas related to talent management
•Provides thought leadership on organization effectiveness solutions and trends
•Keeps abreast of current developments in the organization development field. Researches, evaluates, and adopts/adapts, as appropriate, new technologies, methodologies and concepts
•Develops and maintains an external network of contacts for benchmarking, industry and technology information transfer
•Delivers learning sessions through a variety of mediums including: instructor-led, group facilitations, team building exercises, and web-based interactive programs
•Membership and active involvement in a professional association
Talent Management
•Designs and leads process mapping and work redesign as it relates to organizational initiatives
•Resolves specific client requests with a high level of customer service
•Leverages expertise in talent program design and develop to bring unique solutions to clients and the firm
•Leads the process of addressing client specific business technologies or processes
•Gains knowledge and increasing competency with primary expertise areas
•Develops new processes, supporting materials, training, communication strategies, etc for assigned projects and program
Project Management
•Demonstrated success at project leadership and program implementation
•Manages the overall timelines, communication and reporting processes assigned projects
•Developed workplans, status reports, and has demonstrated expertise in managing positive momentum on assigned projectsCompany Overview

Educational and Tenure
•Bachelor’s Degree required in Organization Development, Organization Behavior , Industrial/ Organizational Psychology or related and supporting field; Master’s Preferred
•Minimum 6 years experience in the Organizational Development field in a corporate business environment, preferably in professional services. Preference will be given to those with professional services backgrounds.
Technical
•Understanding of change management theory with a strong emphasis on application leading to practical strategies
•Knowledge of current practices in change management, culture, needs analysis, and team interventions
•Experience in creating innovative programs which lead to exceptional people experiences
•Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; experience developing strategic communication plans and utilizing multiple communication channels
•Experience in facilitating management/leadership training to mid to senior-level managers
