Job Description SummaryAAM is looking for a talented, self-motivated individual to fill our Procurement Co-op position. This position will report up through our Direct Buy team at our World Headquarters facility in Detroit, MI.
Job Description
Position responsibilities:
•Support the Procurement Business Group
•Assist with AAM/Supplier relationship systematically
•Lead coordination of duplicate supplier record consolidation
•Assists with developing system training modules, Job Aids and Training Manuals
•Troubleshoot and assist internal Users with our ERP system
•Assist Suppliers with gaining access and navigating Supplier self-management and Supplier Portal
•Obtain knowledge of department and its operations
Required Skills and Education
Requirements:
•Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Supply Chain program (or closely related program).
•Graduation date of December 2020 or later.
•Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.
• Familiarity with basic supply chain principles required.
•Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Prior work/intern/Co-op experience in Supply Chain is preferred
