Reporting to the Industrial Engineering Manager, the Industrial Engineer is responsible for installing, evaluating and improving manufacturing processes, methods and tools that are installed in the plant. The Engineer will support the analysis of the utilization of work force, workflow, and space requirements. They will define improvement plans consistently with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles, in order to reach the most effective and efficient production process in term of cost, timing and quality.

In this role the ideal candidate will act as a network and think innovatively while executing the following responsibilities:
•Manage all metrics and reporting to support the achievement of production KPI’s
•Develop and implement the manufacturing procedures at Local and Global level
•Assure the use of operative instructions in order to mitigate the risk in manufacturing phase
•Consolidate Manufacturing Processes and documentation using the WCM approach
•Drive the Design to Manufacturing — Design to Assemble to ensure the manufacturability of the product in accordance with our processes
•Define Manufacturing BOM and consolidate product costs during industrialization of New Products and during the continuous improvement of our Manufacturing Processes.
•Coordinate Pre-Series Production Validation testing
•Define and implement manufacturing process and tools for local production
•Define Production Cycles (sequences and timing) and the actions in order to reach the yearly target
•Coordinate the realization of PFMEA (Production FMEA)
•Coordinate the local CAPEX decision and budget
•Work Analysis and optimization of working place (productivity, quality, safety and ergonomic, not value added activities reduction, etc.)
•Support Logistic on material flow optimization, handling and packaging, transportation;
•Oversee compliance of employee and customer safety by development of process and products
•Other duties as required

This role is best suited for a candidate that possess the following qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or related field
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing manufacturing processes
•Proficient in CAD/CAM tools
•Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience in a production environment
•Knowledge of WCM Methodology (WO, EEM, NRG)
•Knowledge of ergonomic OSHA standards
•Ability to manage teams and multitask
