Our Operation Excellence/Value Stream Manager will be a hands on manager responsible for leading the focused continuous improvement priorities in Imlay City to include the facilitation of the Goal Deployment Process and all associated metrics.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Facilitate improvement events based on each annual Target To Improve (TTI) process
•Mentor, coach, and train employees on REV Operational Excellence standards, tools, and metrics
•Deliver hard savings improvements through process improvement activities
•Develop relationships across the business that help create a culture of continuous improvement
•Actively participate in activities that will ensure sustainability of improvement initiatives
•Other management duties as assigned
Education/Experience:
•BA/BS degree with emphasis in a manufacturing discipline/technical field desired
•Minimum of seven years progressive experience with quality and lean management in a manufacturing environment
•Demonstrated leadership experience including profit and loss responsibilities
Solid manufacturing foundation with specific lean tools (5S, facilitation of Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, etc.)
•Solid background in project management and training
•Six Sigma and Lean certifications preferred.
