Job Description
General Description:The Frame Pack Out team member is responsible for packaging the frame and required hardware according to pre-determined specifications. The Production crew works as a team to ensure all sales orders are assembled and packed per schedule. Assembly 3 team members may be cross-trained in a variety of roles.
Principal Duties and Accountabilities include, but not limited to:
Pack Out -- Frame Assembly
•Retrieve paperwork and match work order to door.
•Print packaging labels.
•Review work order for packing requirements and package door correctly.
•Enter production data into computer to update status of work order.
•Correctly put material away in storage racks.
•Performs housekeeping and preventative maintenance responsibilities as needed.
•Responsible for following documented procedures as well as producing and ensuring product meets or exceeds established product specifications.
•Works safely to ensure employees do not incur bodily harm.
•Uses care and respect to ensure equipment and/or property is not damaged.
•Wears required PPE: safety glasses and steel toe shoes.
Position Requirements
•Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
•Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours
•Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
•Ability to read and understand work instructions and work orders in English
•Must be able to work flexible hours when required to meet customer demands
•Ability to work in team environment at a fast pace to ensure production goals are met
•Must have demonstrated excellent attendance
•Must have strong math skills
•Must be able to read a tape measure accurately
•Must have basic computer knowledge
•Previous assembly experience preferred
•Strong attention to detail
•Excellent communication skills
•Ability to repetitively bend, lift, and twist
•Willingness and ability to cross-train into all assembly positions
•Have reliable transportation
