In a nutshell, at our Walker, Michigan facility we work with aluminum extrusions that serve as the frame used to secure glass walls commonly used in commercial buildings. Additionally, we manufacture doors used in commercial buildings.

The Production crew works as a team to ensure all sales orders are assembled and packed per schedule.
The Production team wears required PPE: safety glasses, steel toe shoes, gloves, ear plugs and hard hats as needed. The team works safely to ensure that employees do not incur bodily harm. The team uses care and respect to ensure that equipment and/or property is not damaged. The team works together to keep the Production area clean.
All Production team members are cross-trained to perform these job functions. All Production team members are responsible for following documented procedures as well as ensuring productivity meets or exceeds established requirements.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:
•Read and verify paperwork for product accuracy.
•Pick required material
•Verify quality of material and finished product
•Cut material according to work order specifications
•Read and understand work order
•Enter production data into computer to update status of work order.
•Performs housekeeping and preventative maintenance responsibilities as needed.
•Responsible for following documented procedures as well as producing and ensuring product meets or exceeds established product specifications.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
•High school diploma or equivalent, required
•Manufacturing experience, preferred
•Familiarity with cutting material according to work order specifications
•Ability to read and interpret work instructions and work orders in English, required
•Able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and templates, required
•Able to make perform basic math computations, required
•Able to read a tape measure and measure product to 1/32
•Able to perform basic computer functions related to data entry, output and storage, required

•Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
•Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours
•Must be able to repetitively bend, lift, push, pull and twist with product in hand
•Must be able to work flexible hours (including over time and weekends) when required to meet customer demands
•Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment ("PPE") including - safety glasses, steel toe shoes, gloves, ear plugs and hard hats as needed.
