A Facilities Coordinator II, under general supervision of the Facilities Management Supervisor, performs a variety of responsible clerical work required in the operation of the Facilities Management Department. This employee performs duties on an independent basis requiring considerable knowledge of the departmental practices and procedures, and is accountable for the final results of work performed. The Facilities Coordinator II may be required to coordinate employees in the completion of assigned tasks and projects. The Facilities Coordinator II is responsible for departmental accounts payable and payroll documents and records. The Facilities Coordinator II is responsible for processing work requests and assigning work orders including priority levels using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management) system. The Facilities Coordinator II coordinates County-wide departmental relocations, external vendor work, parts research and orders, management of Facilities contracts, and County surplus reuse/disposal. The Facilities Coordinator II also prepares scopes of work and solicits bids for minor renovation and repair related work. The Facilities Coordinator II is part of the Sustainability Department/Team that serves as a resource for all departments on environmental initiatives. The Facilities Coordinator II assists with coordinating the County surplus disposal and online auction. The Facilities Coordinator II assists with the coordination of the internal recycling program.
