The Purchased Controller On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) Regulatory Compliance Supervisor job responsibilities include but not limited to coordinating delivery and compliance evaluations of OBD certification documentation for:
•Multiple ePT (Hybrid) related module suppliers
•Multiple engine control module suppliers (non-ePT)
•Multiple Transmission suppliers
Other significant tasks for the OBD Compliance Supervisor include, but may not be limited to:
•Review OBD-related running changes and field fixes
•Participate in OBD certification documentation reviews
•Run weekly strategy review meetings, administer open issues closure
•Provide annual OBD Phase-In plan reporting for CARB compliance
•Provide analysis to support quarterly OBD Deficiency Fines payment for CARB
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Technical / Science discipline
•Minimum 5 years of experience calibrating or certifying On Board Diagnostics on gasoline, diesel or hybrid applications
•Strong background in program management
•Proficient in Excel with comfort on some spreadsheet/database work
•Skills using PowerPoint slides for presentation ability
Preferred Qualifications:
•Master’s degree in Engineering or Technical / Science discipline
•Experience working with OBD certification documentation and OBD regulatory awareness
•Comfort with speaking to many contacts within FCA and extended regional teams for coordination efforts
•Ability to communicate that status to management and represent NAFTA team
