Role
The Facilities Industrial Engineer will report to the Facilities Superintendent in support of building maintenance/infrastructure/equipment and operational programs as coordinated with the VP of Facilities/Construction and the Operations Manager. The successful candidate is a support resource of the Facilities Group and Plant Operational teams to ensure integrity and progressive functionality of facility equipment, building and plant grounds.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform analysis and reviews of all building/facility support systems relative to all source energies to determine functional capabilities based on design intent
- Thorough understanding of facility support systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management system, and building repairs
- Ensure that periodic predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance of all plant support equipment, machinery, facilities and other physical assets are attended to and accomplished and that emergency troubleshooting and maintenance support are readily available as needed
- Perform facility inspections and report on condition affecting operations
- Responsible for gathering quotes, producing requisitions and purchase orders; procuring the products and services of subcontractors and outside vendors for the satisfactory completion of facility projects and maintenancePrepare and submit summary reports of conditions in buildings and recommend actions to be taken
- Maintain compliance to City, County, State ordinances and codes
- EHS compliance and regulatory enforcement of all operating systems; infrastructure and process related
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial preferred)
- 5-10 year of hands on experience in facilities/support equipment operation, Industrial and EHS
